Bead made of silver-containing glass

The cost of the workshop is 7500 rubles from the participant.

Duration of the workshop 2 hours.

The price of the workshop includes all necessary materials and tools.

This workshop is intended for those who have completed the workshop «Pandora’s Mystery» and already has experience working with glass.

workshop program

1. Discussion of the drawing, choice of glass for the bead.
2. Basic principles of working with silver-containing glass.
3. Demonstration by the master of working techniques.
4. Work behind the burner under the guidance of a master:
a) Pulling a “string” out of glass to apply a pattern to a bead (if needed for a pattern)
b) Forming a bead.
c) Working with a drawing.
d) Coating with transparent, giving the final shape.
5. The number of beads that we will have time to make at the workshop depends on the complexity of the design and the size of the beads. On average, it turns out to make about 4-6 beads.

After production, the beads are placed in a muffle furnace.
