It’s a rare girl who denies herself the pleasure of highlighting her style with the right accessories and jewelry. They are able to make the image complete and individual.

What should you pay attention to when choosing your ideal jewelry? Let us note several basic selection parameters. And of course we’ll talk separately about my favorite glass decorations (LAMPWORK).

So, first things first.

We emphasize natural beauty.

Our own features, with their natural content and special character, already set the direction for choosing the color palette and form of decoration.

When decorations tell our history, they make us irresistible. However, if you choose them incorrectly, the brightest appearance can turn into faded and expressionless. It is important to give preference to products that match our image and appearance.

Appearance analysis — facial features.

The facial features of each of us contain the answer to the question of which jewelry lines suit us. We are beautiful, but our faces are so different. Let’s look in the mirror. What facial features determine our image?

Fine lines of the face will suit jewelry with subtle, elegant details. The beauty of large features is favorably emphasized by jewelry with large details and solid texture.

Choose your palette.

Probably everyone is familiar with the theory color types «timesA year» — Autumn, Spring, Winter or Summer. I am not inclined to believe in this color division. There are a great variety of shades, each base color has a cold and warm shade. Color, as stylists say, “on the face” is of great importance. This is exactly our story! Earrings, beads, pendants and chokers and even rings, because we often hold our hands near our faces.

If you are the owner of bright facial features, then active the color in the jewelry is yours choice. For girls with a soft appearance, weightless pastel colors are more suitable.

I can’t help but say something special about the fittings. Both gold and silver are relevant now. Silver suits almost everyone. But gold jewelry is more suitable for girls with a “warm” appearance. I don’t recommend choosing very thin fittings; they can cheapen the appearance of the product, and therefore your appearance.

We bring individuality (character).

Appearance, of course, is a fundamental factor when choosing jewelry. However, our character and clothing style should not be left aside. Previously, we chose the details and palette. It’s time for the fun part — style and materials.

Style, as you know, is an ambiguous concept. There are a lot of stylistic trends. They mix, modify and evolve. The main thing here is that the decoration does not bring imbalance to your image. Do you want to bet on a spectacular decoration? Choose a more restrained look and inactive print of clothes. Do you like bright colors and catchy details in clothes? Minimalist, laconic, one or two tones jewelry will harmoniously complete the look.

And a few more of my favorite examples.

French style clothing values ​​comfort above all, rather than relevance. An important characteristic of this style is simplicity. A minimum of accessories, sometimes a complete lack of decoration. However, you shouldn’t give them up altogether, but you should choose only one element of jewelry, either discreet, laconic earrings, or a chain or a thin long string of beads, or a ring.

Shabby Chic — romanticism and femininity. Shabby Chic style is an echo of the past. Graceful and feminine details, vintage lace and delicate lines of embroidery, an abundance of floral motifs and natural materials. There’s plenty of room to go wild with jewelry and accessories! An excellent choice is textile jewelry, brooches, beads, flowers on the wrist and even hats. No graphic patterns or broken lines! Airy decorations made of transparent glass with floral patterns will also come in handy.

Boho Chic – similar in complexity and variety of accessories to Shabby, but with ethnic notes. This style is distinguished by an abundance of knitwear and color (mostly natural tones), as well as natural fabrics with prints, and flowers and checks look equally flattering. What jewelry to choose for such images rich in details? The answer is unexpected — multilayer. Deliberately tangled strings of beads, many rings and half-wrist thin bracelets will successfully fit into the Boho look.

And perhaps also Grunge — a style that denies conventions. Quite aggressive and slightly careless. The freedom and diversity of Grunge gives room for imagination to select jewelry and accessories. Traditionally these are chains, chokers and leather bracelets. There is room to dream up your imagination on the topic of glass.

We choose according to the occasion.

We often choose jewelry according to our mood. Everyone has “favorites” that they want to wear always and everywhere. But there are events that simply require a special approach to choosing jewelry! Weddings, holidays and other important moments for us. When choosing active jewelry, you should be especially attentive to the main image. Remember that our image is primary, and decoration is an element of our individuality. It complements us, not the other way around.

There are no minor details when choosing jewelry! Everything is important — size, shape, color and finish, material and texture, psychological and artistic component of the products.
