“Dragon's Breath”: the first bead at the burner on the lampwork

“It’s like a dragon’s breath 🐉🔥,” Olya whispered as a blue-orange flame flashed above the table. We all looked like a team of myth hunters in our goggles, and someone even looked back in case their tail hit the chairs.

The flame hisses, the glass slowly brightens, a small sun appears on the tip of the knitting needle ☀️ We freeze, as if we were watching a trailer for a film where the main character is a bead. It grows, rounds out, and at some point it becomes clear: the dragon has been tamed.

Olya shakes her head and laughs: “Okay, sign me up as a trainer.” We applaud, and for a second the workshop becomes quiet and very warm 🧡
